A roundtable article featuring our designer Kenji Hotta has been published on the Jackuets website.
Under the theme “The Townscape and Playful Community Envisioned by Yuda Onsen Konkon Park,” the discussion brings together representatives from Yamaguchi City (center in photo), Jakuets (left), and Kenji Hotta (right).
Through the conversation, the article explores the background behind the project and the team’s thoughts on creating a community space open to the local community.
Planned around the concepts of “a place to play,” “a place to learn,” and “a place to gather,” Yuda Onsen Konkon Park was designed as a space where people of all generations can spend time freely in their own way.
The article also introduces a new model for a regional gathering place shaped through hot springs, nature, and human interaction.
