Marking its 30th anniversary in 2025, JMA positions its participation in the Tokyo Architecture Festival as a new beginning.
Through a wide range of projects both in Japan and abroad, we have approached design not as individual buildings, but within the broader context of the “city.”
From master planning to architecture, space, and detail, we integrate all scales into a unified vision. By transcending boundaries between disciplines and scales, we weave value into cohesive environments—this is the essence of our philosophy, “Beyond Boundaries.”
This exhibition looks back on our trajectory while offering an experiential introduction to JMA’s design approach. Visitors can explore our work through project maps spanning the city, as well as models, drawings, and videos that present our projects in a tangible and immersive way.
We hope this exhibition will offer moments of discovery—“This building was also designed by JMA?”—and provide insight into the thinking behind our approach to urban design. Experience how we create cohesive urban environments while embracing diversity across multiple scales and disciplines.
