We attended the completion ceremony of Konkon Park in Yuda Onsen, a project designed and supervised by JMA in joint venture with DaiKen Sekkei.
Utilizing the region’s rich hot spring resources, the facility embodies the concept of “a place to live and a place to visit,” offering enjoyment for both residents and tourists. The two-story building features a central plaza under a large roof, where local events such as mochi-throwing are held. It also serves as a hot spring community space with footbaths and a café.
In addition to being a playground, the park contributes to community revitalization across generations, offering various perspectives and functions.
We’re very much looking forward to its grand opening in June!
