Park Court Shibuya Oyama-cho The Plane was a project which unifies three buildings in three sections next to each other across a road. The buildings surround a central private garden with each entrance positioned towards the garden, so the site layout creates a sense of unity through integrated development.

Intricate designs were applied down to the smallest details such as varying tile thickness to create fine shadows, and sensitivity to the slight change in colors to create a luxury development suitable for the high-end neighborhood of Oyama-cho in Shibuya. To help tie the designs of these three buildings together as one complex all the tiles and paint colors were the same, but by varying the style of application and the numbers used each building was given its own individual character.

The interior of the common spaces used the same principle with each having a different character. The residents are able to choose from a variety of spaces, such as ‘Sei-tei’ which is positioned on the axis line and connects to the garden has a lounge that can be hired as a private room; a library lounge in ‘Sui-tei’ invites residents with a relaxing personal space right next to the green garden, and ‘Yu-tei’ has a lounge with a gorgeous view of the greenery and water that expands out to the garden.

These sophisticated design apartments were created to suit the area with a careful balance between the characteristics of each building while forming an integrated development as a whole. It is our hope that this area matures to be a home for many beautiful mansions.
