About the Project

Like a ‘Village’ which is alive on a mountain, the group of facilities are segmented and gathered by the slope. For this training institute which gets lots of first time visitors, segmenting the building made the facilities easy to use. Each facilities’ colour is coordinated with the colour of the mountain and trees, so that the image of Hayama is instilled into the architectural image and creates another landscape. Creating a design that didn’t ruin the natural shape of the land was the goal. Also, the view for the visitor changes often while moving around the different parts of the complex when undertaking a program and this gives them respite.
