The development site is located in an area where the city bustle connected to Shinjuku station meets the tranquility of Shinjuku Gyoen. The project is based on the concept of rising above this point of convergence on an “Ascending Current” to soar into the open sky above.

The dynamic façade of the building adopts a pure-white color scheme that is reminiscent of clouds, transforming with a feeling of flight. Our hope that the tenants can grow and reach their aspirations is interwoven in this organically transforming design. For the building, the story height of floors 1, 2, and 7 will be 6 m, while floors 3 to 6 will have a story height of 4.5 m. This high ceiling height will grant the structure an abundant openness that will set it apart from the surrounding business buildings despite it being an office block. To enable staff to refresh themselves during their work breaks, balconies will be installed on each floor of the east side of the building facing Shinjuku Gyoen. The shared rooftop terrace has also been skillfully designed so that staff can have quick meetings and operate their PCs while enjoying the view of Shinjuku Gyoen and the feeling of nature even in the heart of the city. The colored lighting for the entrance changes in unison with the lighting at the top of the building. It expresses the flowers that bloom in Shinjuku Gyoen across the 24 solar terms, bringing diversity to the nightscape of Shinjuku and a sense of connection between Shinjuku Gyoen and the building location.

It is our hope that this project leads to a new landmark at Shinjuku 4-chome.
